Hello! My names Chase, I'm a transfer student from Weatherford College located in (you guessed it) Weatherford! I'm currently a Junior pursuing a Bachelors degree in Information Technology (IT). I found my passion for IT from my current job in Geek Squad. At the beginning of my Academic Career I was dead set on becoming a detective, I thought that would be the coolest job ever. But I soon realized how depressing it would be working with dead bodies all day. Eventually a position opened up for Geek Squad at my local Best Buy, I applied and realized that IT and being a detective are kinda similar (hear me out). So when someone comes in with an issue with a computer I have to use deductive reasoning to decide on what the issue is and if it can be repaired in store or out of store.

I study Electrical Engineering Technology, my goal as part of UNT Robotics is to continue to learn and push the envelope to ensure that the work that we are doing is recognized for the opportunities we create and outstanding projects that we see through.
I am the Webmaster for UNT Robotics. I'm in charge of the website that you see in front of you. I also integrate our technology stack with other organisations and maintain the online equipment checkout system.
I'm almost finished studying Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, so robotics is the natural choice for all of my talents. I love to be hands on with technology, and take apart and break anything that I can. For me there's nothing quite like finally seeing a project successfully working out in the real-world.
